As we have seen, the Bible mentions several ways we can mistreat the Holy Spirit; we can resist Him, insult Him, lie to His face, spit on Him in blasphemy, make Him sad, and quench His flaming presence.3 Let’s look in more detail at two of the ways we can be abusive to the Holy Spirit.
